Goodwill Outlets In Oregon

There are a total of 5 Goodwill Outlets, or Goodwill Bins, located in Oregon.

Each of these Goodwill Outlets are a hotspot for re-sellers and treasure seekers who are willing to dig for some treasure. While most of these Oregon Goodwill Bins are competitive, these are still considered some of the best Goodwill Outlet locations in the country for shoppers looking for highly-valuable items for cheap. Whether you’re looking for vintage clothing, furniture, toys, or home goods, you can probably find it at the Goodwill Outlets in Oregon.

Pro-Tip: The Goodwill Bins located in Medford is supposedly Oregon’s “best kept secret.”

If you’re visiting a Goodwill Outlet store for the first time, you need to mentally prepare for a different shopping experience. Competition is fierce, regulars are competitive and people are shopping for their lives.

Who are resellers? Is this location good for resellers?

Re-sellers are people who shop with the intention to buy items for cheap and sell them online for a profit. They get a bad reputation for being aggressive at times, but this is the risk you take when treasure hunting.

And yes, these Oregon Goodwill Outlets are good for re-sellers.

At these Goodwill Bins, merchandise is piled into large blue bins. Everything is charged by weight, most times costing less than $2/lb.

Here are some tips: Make sure to come prepared early in the morning with a set of gloves and a large shopping bag, as the Goodwill carts may go quickly. And based on the Goodwill outlet you’re shopping at, shoving between highly competitive shoppers is normal and to be expected.

If you don’t find anything on your first visit, remember that there are new bins full of items that are rotated every single day. With consistency and a little luck, you’ll be sharpening your thrifting skills and striking gold in no time. Goodluck.

Items are not on racks because this is an outlet (bins) not a regular retail store. Items in the bins are sold by the pound except items listed on their large pricing signs located throughout the store. Price is cheaper if you buy 25+ pounds. The staff is very helpful and friendly. Yes, some shoppers can act like vultures at times but the hunt is the fun of going to the bins. They sell clothing, furniture, shoes, books, toys, electronics, household items, bicycles, household items, misc. There are no outlets to test electronics but the price per pound for electronics is cheap. I advise wearing gloves to protect you from any broken glass or sharp objects. Furniture is limited but very good prices. Donations are accepted until just before closing.

Nice place. I love going to the regular Goodwill stores but was hesitant to go to the "bins" store because I really don't like to "dig". However I was pleasantly surprised. The bins are large and pretty shallow so you don't have to dig much at all. The prices on the furniture were unbelievably cheap! On a budget, here is your place. The prices in general were great. I couldn't not bring myself to dig through the clothing but I don't need any more clothes anyway. Bring gloves...and after you pay (everything is by weight), there is a table area to bag your stuff.

Place can get pretty intense when new bins come in, but that is part of the fun. Found some nice camera equipment and some random, quirky stuff too! Fun to go just for the experience! Definitely worth a visit. Just bring gloves though as some of the stuff can be pretty gross.

For clothing and soft goods, this is a place where you can find some great deals if you are willing to work for it, and work you will because the huge troughs of goods are only very generally sorted. But whatever you find will be sold by weight, so if you're looking for kids' clothes you can come out with a lot for very little .... if you can find things that work for you. It's an interesting and eclectic assortment, but frustrating to dig through, and there can be sharp objects lurking buried in the bins which can hurt you or damage the other goods in the bins as you and others rummage through. Books, DVDs, electronics and some other items are sold individually rather than by weight and while it is cheaper than you'd see at the regular goodwill store it isn't necessarily dirt-cheap and they're usually in worse condition than you'd see at the regular goodwill.

Wear rubber gloves and dust mask but omg I have found some of the nicest stuff here amongst crapola, intense smells and a possible diaper or two j/k - it's one of my fave places to rummage for vintage fabric, jeans, beautiful stain free quilts you name it! - make sure to throw in something heavy to reach 25lbs for the .99 cent per pound deal!

If a regular Goodwill store is like sipping a light beer, the outlet is like chugging vodka. I've found a lot of great stuff here over the years but there have also been many times I've left with nothing. Bars of soap, tools, headphones, cell phones, hundreds of promotional bottle openers, somebody's grandpa's slide collection, that laptop charger that's $20 at the superstore but about 70 cents here. You can have it all. I recommend going at less busy times. Watch out for the sudden and needless stampedes when people find out where the new tables are going to be brought out. I usually avoid the new table rush since most of these people wouldn't know what's good to grab if it jumped out of the pile of tangled cables, broken clothes hangers, and strangely wet stuff and bit them in the face. Picking through the leftovers has netted me many treasures, especially after people start tossing their rejected stuff back in. Not allowing kids in the store is the best thing they've done since separating the pricing of electronics from everything else. Overall, it's gross, many of the people are rude or oblivious, and you have to watch out for pokey stuff, but it can pay off if you know what to look for and you keep at it.

Been to nearly 40 bin stores in the USA. Rates in top 10. Notably #1 for quality furniture in my few visits. Didn't find a ton of resale items or media, but was enjoyable to browse. Clean enough, tables change regularly. Visited 2019, so I don't know what it's like now.

You can find some decent stuff here, although there is definitely a lot of trash, as they sift out a lot that they think they can sell online. There is a large crowd of regulars who sit here all day, which can be annoying, but the bigger issue is the horrible, dishonest management. They will literally come up to you and take stuff out of your hands, out of your cart, refuse to sell it to you at the register if they recognize it (hello Apple products), and try to change/up the price as they're ringing things up if the think it's worth something more than the weight price or tagged price. You could have at least some respect for them if they were honest, but they lie about their reasoning as they take stuff out of your hands, stuttering and stammering when called out. The employees who find things that actually sell online get percentage commissions from the sale price, so there's heavy incentive to be aggressive about it. You would think once things make it out to the floor they should be fair game, which is true at most Goodwill Outlets, but not this one. Still probably worth hitting up, just be aware you'll need to be sneaky if you find something obviously valuable.

I'm only giving 4 stars because they need more shopping carts. This place always has an abundance of items and I never leave empty handed. Without fail I come home with wonderful things at even better prices. The employees are great. If you are in the mood to dig through bins for treasures this place is for you! Most of the other shoppers are respectful and courteous. I recommend wearing rubber gloves and washing your unique finds.

I absolutely enjoy the goodwill bins . They have literally something for everyone The prices can't be beat get 25 lbs or more and the cost of the clothing drops per pound nearly $ 1.50 example tonight I had about 18 lbs total it came to $31.00 I was told that if I wanted I could go get 7 pounds more and it be 2 Dollars cheaper It's a neat place to go with a few friend and be ready to stay a few hours

Used to be an amazing place to find gems and amazing deals on things. But ever since COVID it seems that the amount of people taking on reselling as a "side hustle" has multiplied many times over. These resellers will not only spend hours hogging up entire bins, scanning and looking up each and every thing. But will spend the entire DAY at the store waiting to get first dibs on every new bin. A time limit for each bin would be greatly appreciated, as I used to be able to consistently find good stuff here and now almost never do anymore.

We love this place we went 3 times in 4 days . We are helping someone move into an apartment with nothing. We got a desk $1 and beautiful chair $.50. Blanket , duvet cover, pots, silverware, dishes so much. All $1.29 a pound. My friend has scored beautiful leather couches $ 10 each. Lots of books lots of clothes. Wow what an experience.

This place is very chaotic. This is not a traditional thrift/goodwill locaiton. They have these blue bins laid out in lanes with items strewn within them. People are waiting for new bins to come out and pick into. There just seems to be so much going on that it was very hard to navigate for me. I could see it being fun once you get into it, but it just seemed like too much effort. Other comments about resellers were very accurate. People were waiting and hoarding around the new bins coming out and scanning each item to try to see if they could flip things. If you have some time or want to dig through what seemed to be disorganized bins then this is the place for you.

Random bargains await. Big blue bins are rolled in and out every few minutes. Items in the bins are priced per pound, which makes some heavier items way too expensive, but some items are a steal. Individually priced furniture and large items are located in the back of the store. Timid shoppers don't do well, as people can be pushy, and generally don't ascribe to normal shopping etiquette. If you have a germ phobia, this place will freak you out. Gloves are occasionally worn by customers, but generally not necessary. A full bin of clothes being clawed through by 30 people puts out a lot of dust and whatever airborne particles live in used fabric. Folks with dust allergies better wear a mask or go to a big box store and avoid this shopping adventure altogether. Be careful where you park. Customers unfortunately leave empty shopping carts randomly throughout the parking lot and rarely push them back to the store. Staff are friendly and helpful. They deal with an eclectic mix of shoppers every day, and as far as retail challenges, they have probably seen it all. This is a good place to drop off donations. You are supporting an organization helping our community.

Truly a fascinating experience, like stepping into the Twilight Zone. Big blue bins are piled high with junk and the occasional treasure waiting to be unearthed. One by one they wheel them out. The regulars ready themselves along the yellow lines, carefully directing their carts and family members into your personal space. Once all the bins are in place, chaos ensues. Think Black Friday at Walmart, but every 30 minutes or so. Clothes flying through the air, the sounds of glassware breaking as people hunting for marginally profitable items ravage the bins. I’m giving this store one star because Goodwill tolerates unsafe and intimidating behavior from its customers. The last time I was here, some dude carelessly threw a large, very heavy item from his bin directly into the bin I was searching through. I’m not exaggerating when I say that someone could have been seriously injured by this. I was also advised by a very kind fellow shopper to cover up a valuable item in my cart, to dissuade someone from stealing it. Like, cool it people, I assure you there is enough junk to go around for everyone. Seriously, why does Goodwill put up with this? It’s the reason there is a stigma attached to “the bins,” and it would be unacceptable at any other establishment.

This place is awesome. Wear protective gloves because sometimes the bins have broken glass. Lots of good stuff and lots of junk. Cheap prices! Hold your purses and valuables. There’s alot of shady individuals that are in the store. The location of this store also seems shady. Stay alert and stay alive.

They will refuse your well behaved children even when wearing masks with NO ISSUES BECAUSE they claim its for children's safety due to covid. My children ate in school and do just fine sanitizing and more. IF YOUR child is just Below 12!!! They will not let you in! This is wrong! I can understand toddlers. But school age children ?? Come on! I can take them anywhere else and not have issues WHAT SO EVER!

There is new stuff being carted in every 20 minutes or so but I would recommend wearing gloves and a mask just because it can get a little dirty digging through the bins.

Always find great things! You def have to dig! They make you stop shopping at 645, which is REDICULOUS! Also only 1 person to bin at a time. People always come and start taking things from your bin, but that's to be expected. You really can find good items.

This is the real deal post apocalypse experience you have dreamed of! The best of the best imperfect pieces of all the rejects from the goodwill. I flippin love this place. It's way out in the industrial area of Medfortress, which really adds the whole, end times feel. The people working there are nice. most things are weighed for price and it's very inexpensive. It's an experience for sure

They need some ground rules in here. It's like a feeding frenzy. My wife and I went in there and was pushed out of the way so many times that we purchased our finds and got out of there. If you don't like being pushed and shoved by sweaty gross people..I would look elsewhere. If you like people that stink then this is the place for you.
