Goodwill Outlets In Georgia

There are 2 Goodwill Bins located in Columbus and Savannah, Georgia. During the pandemic, one of the Goodwill Outlets located in Augusta has been permanently closed.

But, like any Goodwill Outlet, it’s still worth making the trip if you’re passionate about sustainable shopping from thrift stores or if you want to source items for cheap to flip for a profit. Many shoppers also come here to find vintage tees, and high-end clothing for a fraction of the value and to re-sell non-clothing items too. One of the best parts of Goodwill Outlet, also known as the Goodwill Bins, is that it’s all charged by weight (for example, $1.99/lb).

And with more re-sellers and vintage collectors than ever before, make sure to come prepared early in the morning with a set of gloves and a large shopping bag, as the Goodwill carts may go quickly. Based on the Goodwill outlet you’re shopping at, shoving between highly competitive shoppers is normal and to be expected. Remember, people make their full-time livings doing this.

If you don’t find anything on your first visit, remember that there are new bins full of items that are rotated every single day. With consistency and a little luck, you’ll be sharpening your thrifting skills and striking gold in no time.

The staff at this location where very helpful and super friendly. The store was clean. Only issue was very minimal items and clothing when the bins came out, wasn’t a lot to look through in each one. A lot of the clothing was damaged or stained. Only leaving four stars for this reason. Wouldn’t say this location is worth a long drive for a reseller but for someone in the area that has time to browse for personal use items it’s great

Hasn’t been opened long and I loved going until recently. The real “regular customers” that go all the time get first dibs on certain things. On more than one occasion I heard regular customers asking employees to hold something in the back for them if they came across any certain item and the employee agreed. This is wrong, items should be for everyone. First come first serve!!!! I stopped going after this and I know a few others who have stopped going for this very reason. I will not be back. This is not right

Great place to get lots of items. Make sure you don't have a place to be because it takes a long time to sift through clothes. Totally worth the time though because I got over 100 items for 30 dollars

Great place for thrifted clothes for cheap. You have to rummage through the buckets yourself and most of the stuff isn’t useable, but you can find some good items there if you dig around. I got 8 things of clothes for only $6.53 and some of them were well known brands. When I went I think it was 89 cents a pound of clothes. Great deal. Just make sure you wash them after you get them because they’re dirty and smell.

Savannah GWO has been one of my favorite places to shop up until this past year. I don't know if it's Covid or a change in management but shoppers here are out of control. Staffing does nothing about it. Shoppers charge bins before wheels are locked and they get pushed into people, buggys and employees. The shoe bins are especially dangerous, shoppers charge these bins in pairs, grab and throw pairs of shoes across bins to their partners across the room. I was nearly taken out by a pair of chunky sandals just two weeks ago.

All the clothes have very bad smell. Like they have been dipped in gasoline or diesel fuel. Washed it twice, added softener and the smell is still there. I will have to throw it away. Disgusting.

I just happened on the Outlet while visiting Savannah. My first time and I got pretty much all name brand shoes...Vintage Chanel ballet flats, Tieks Ballet flats, some cute summer wicker purses, and vintage Embroidered Tablecloths and Doilies. I never knew this was down here and will be traveling more now!!
