Goodwill Outlets In Nevada

There are a total of 2 Goodwill Outlets, or Goodwill Bins, in Nevada located in Reno and Las Vegas.

If you’re a thrifter who doesn’t mind rummaging through piles of merchandise for the chance to find treasure for cheap, this is the spot for you. These Goodwill Bins are much less organized tha your typical thrift store. Imagine 15+ large blue bins where you have to dig through unorganized piles of clothes, toys, electronics, furniture and more.

These outlets are amazing for sourcing items to flip for a profit online if you’re a re-seller, or to find high-valuable items for yourself.

But with more re-sellers and vintage collectors than ever before, make sure to come prepared early in the morning with a set of gloves and a large shopping bag, as the Goodwill carts may go quickly. And based on the Goodwill outlet you’re shopping at, shoving between highly competitive shoppers is normal and to be expected.

If you don’t find anything on your first visit, remember that there are new bins full of items that are rotated every single day. With consistency and a little luck, you’ll be sharpening your thrifting skills and striking gold in no time. Goodluck.

OMG! Ok I absolutely love this place. You have to mentally prepare yourself to get your hands dirty and come energized! I am not sure how often they add or change the bins BUT regardless you cannot beat $1.25 per lb. I found many books for both adults and children. Yes some of them are in poor condition but if you take your time to look you can find some pretty good, clean and decent books. Shoes and purses… again they have a lot of old used things BUT keep looking and you will find something. I found 1 pair of new sandals and a new pair of boots. It’s the best place to get clothing as well. I found very nice shirts for my girls and some even have tags on em. This place gets packed and it’s hard to use a cart in here so bring a shopping bag instead. They have bathrooms available but did not use em. For some reason there was 1 cashier (both times I came) so you do have to wait in line for long periods of time. Staff is friendly. Of course I will come back next time I’m in Reno.

Gave a 4 star only because it's extremely difficult to get a cart to shop in. Ya never leave with just a handful of bin finds ever. Luckily there is plenty of treasure holding luggage on wheels and backpacks to storage bins to utilize and keep your stuff in while ya shop. The one on Oddie Blvd is my go to. Usually a good find anytime ya go. Happy bargain binning. Spacious. Clean and staff is cool. Enjoy.

The Goodwill Outlet is always an interesting experience people are very competitive for the stuff that's in the Bins. there are hardly any carts and it's not a super clean environment. The lines at checkout can be extremely long and the pricing is erratic when when you purchase something that's not part of there by the pounds scheme. The staff we encountered was very polite but they seem to be few and far between. The behavior of people fighting over the Refuge is unreal but somewhat entertaining. And it seems that every time I go there there's a pack of feral children also making it an interesting experience.

It's like a big garage sale, if you're into that . Has everything in there. Clothes, home goods, toys, furniture, books, shoes, etc. You pay by weight; so when you check out, they put everything on a scale. Furniture is not weighed. It's a little crazy in there with people digging around in a bunch of bins, but it's worth it.

If you don't mind digging around for a great deal this place is soo much fun. No frills at all. Mostly bins of clothing, blankets, purses, toys etc. Clothes are sold by weight and we scored some great finds. The Outlet is next to an actual goodwill thrift store which has all the normal stuff and is reasonably priced. Plan your trip because the lines get super long on weekends and evenings. Grab a cart in the parking lot if you see one. They are hard to get in the outlet.

This location seems to be used as a all day hangout for young guys (maybe homeless). I think they have no where else to go loitering since they are in there every time, and don’t appear to be shopping just standing around joking, talking in a crowd. Staff need to rearrange the area so customers have a place to put their carts. They make people line up against the bins that are already out making it hard for other customers shop. Constantly getting told to move out the way when they change bins is annoying. Some people are extremely rude and have no sense of giving others personal space. Employees yell at people who have never been here for going through bins when there’s no clear rules when you walk in. Management should maybe have a sign when you walk in stating rules instead of screaming at people. No organization what so ever.

Quality has gone way down. The employees are SLOW with rolling out the bin tables and bringing out new stuff. I HATE that this place allows people to "park" their cart at the back of the store as a way to hold their merchandise. The shopping cart parking area could accommodate several more bins if they didn't allow this. It's basically a hit or miss type thing, don't go in with high expectations.

Definitely some cool things to be found here, but if you plan on digging be sure to wear nitrile or Mechanix gloves as I'd seen on a few shoppers during my visits. I almost slashed my hand open on a broken glass ashtray, so I'll be sure to bring gloves on my next visit. All in all, worth popping into this place if you're in the area with a half hour or so to kill.

If you’re ok with getting your hands dirty you can find great items here at an unbelievable price. It’s a little under $2 per pound regardless of the item so for clothes and light items this is great. Furniture is priced differently. The lady at the register is the nicest of any store I’ve been to, unlike the rude folks at the Cheyenne store.

This experience was a bit strange iv been to multiple goodwill outlet from different states never seen one operate like this one an what I mean by that, example for the shoes when they would bring them out the cashier register lady. Would actually go up to the new product and start taking the better new stuff that was just brought out. Again iv never seen this in my entire life of shopping here. But she would take and pick specifically certain good condition shoes. I thought this was unfair. And very strange. The employees all just walk around and talk amongst each other while laughing at jokes and such. Vs bringing new product out. But when they anyway the employees take it... terrible experience would love to speak to head quarters about this! So be aware
