Goodwill Outlets In Nebraska

There are a total of 2 Goodwill Outlets, or Goodwill Bins, located in Nebraska. These are found in Omaha and Grand Island, Nebraska.

At the Goodwill bins, you can sort through piles of clothes, electronics, toys and more, to collect for yourself or flip online for a profit. Everything is charge by the pound, so if you find a high-value item, you can purchase it for a fraction of the retail price.

But with more re-sellers and vintage collectors than ever before, make sure to come prepared early in the morning with a set of gloves and a large shopping bag, as the Goodwill carts may go quickly. And based on the Goodwill outlet you’re shopping at, shoving between highly competitive shoppers is normal and to be expected.

If you don’t find anything on your first visit, remember that there are new bins full of items that are rotated every single day. With consistency and a little luck, you’ll be sharpening your thrifting skills and striking gold in no time. Goodluck.

Very busy since they are only open 1 day a week. Wish it was open more days. Sometimes find good things.

Great experience but not for everyone it's like Black Friday on Tuesday A survival of the fittest experience if you don't watch it they will take right out of your cart if your not paying attention.

This place is not my cup of tea. You line up along the walls while employees roll out carts of items. Once they are all rolled out, they give the go ahead and everyone makes a mad dash to grab what they want. It's like black Friday at a thrift store.

We LOVE the GW Outlet! I find so many cool vintage items and items to Upcycle. Love the search for buried treasure. Nice staff and fun atmosphere. Miss them being open on Friday and Saturday though. Great retail therapy ☺️

I've been to several of the goodwill outlets between Minnesota, Missouri, Iowa and Nebraska. In comparison to those I've been to: -This location had a much larger selection of beds/bed frames etc, large exercise equipment, lawn mowers/snow blowers and furniture then any of the others I've been to. -There were almost no clothes. The occasional clothing item mixed in with everything else in the bins here and there but *when I was there* there were no bins of just clothing which at all the other locations I've been to clothing was 3 bins to every 1 bin of anything else. -I was there late afternoon about 3 hours before closing and it was not busy at all. Maybe 20-30 other people there. -bulk pricing just like all the others. -it was easy to get to & see from the street. Seemed to have plenty of parking but again I went when it wasn't crowded so can't say if there's enough parking during its busy hours. -as for what I found in the bins? Same quality and cleanliness as every single other one. Never know what you're going to find (good or dirty haha) -staff was friendly when I checked out. Overall if I was back in town I would visit again and I would recommend this location to others interested in going to 'the bins'. Good luck!

I give it a four for the great prices. It's weighed to get your price so you have to figure if the price will be reasonable enough once weighed to be a bargain. More you buy less you pay per pound..sometimes you can ask for lower price if it's way to high. New items are thrown in the bins every hour. Bring gloves. It's all thrown in together. No matter what your looking for it eventually will show up there. Keep going till you find it. Of course I always end up buying some major bargain while I'm there. I'm looking to get a shed to put it all in. Or start my own store. It's fun an adventure . You have to try it at least once you'll be back.

This place has gone even further downhill. Not one manager who will hold people accountable for stealing out of carts or hitting other cars in the parking lot. The manager threatened to ban me from all goodwills in Omaha for wearing a goodwill shirt, but wouldn’t do anything about the people in the store who hit my car.

Everything is sold by weight otherwise a price will be quoted. Each day you never know what will show up. It's always a surprise if you like surprises of course! I feel like this place is a down right blessing to even have the opportunity to shop at. Finding a treasure takes time and effort if you don't have patience better just skip to my Lou and go back home. Those that have patience will find treasures unimaginable. Give this place the most patience possible and you will succeed to greatness. My uttermost respect for the gentleman named " Robert " that gave his all and did above n beyond for Goodwill. He will be missed greatly. May the Lord give him wings! God Bless
