Goodwill Outlets In Maine

Maine has one Goodwill Outlet, also known as the Goodwill Bins, and you will find it in Gorham.

What makes this spot worth checking out is the pricing. Everything is sold by weight, which means you can grab clothes, books, and even electronics for a fraction of the usual cost.

The bins are full of all kinds of items, and every visit feels like a bit of a treasure hunt.

With more people getting into flipping and vintage collecting, it is smart to show up early.

Bring gloves and a big bag since carts go quickly and the competition can be strong.

If your first visit does not turn up anything great, do not worry. They refresh the bins daily. Stick with it and you will get the hang of it fast. You might just walk away with something special.

Great deals if you can really sift through things. I got a sweater, two books, an a German language course, all for 52 cents! They have a lot of $25 computers, laptops and towers, with the hard drives removed. The sell the hard drives also after they have been erased.

The same 25 people are there all day every day making in close to impossible to allow any new customers in, it's a shame to see a fun place that everybody loves to shop at be ruined by people who spend 8 hours a day every day there. The hours are horrable, closing for an hour every 3 hours ruins the flow of traffic and restarts with the same people that were inside an hour before. People need to be limited to how long and how many times a day they can shop, just like every other place of business. I understand this is peoples job to buy and resell, as I do that as well. but its destroying the growth of your business and turning so many customers away from shopping here. I just wanna be able to shop here for an hour twice a week and the repetitive customers and store hours prevent that. Also the rush inside is like black friday, no one has any respect for social distancing, bumping shoulders and practically pushing people to get through the mob.

Great finds, but you’ll have to dig! Wear protective gloves while doing so, there could be sharp things or broken things in the bins.

You have to understand this culture of diving into a mess and be happy with what you find Be kind be respectful The goodwill by the pound I usually go to is much much more aggressive than this one They only bring out bins twice a day so those that are complaining about this goodwill bringing in bins every hour should be grateful
