There are four Goodwill Outlet locations, also known as Goodwill Bins, across Louisiana.

The newest one opened in New Orleans in November 2024, giving thrifters another solid place to explore.

If you have never been to a Goodwill Outlet before, picture a large open space filled with massive blue bins. It is not your typical neatly organized thrift store. It is a hands-on treasure hunt for people who love to dig.

Whether you are after vintage pieces or items to resell, Goodwill Bins are a solid place to look. Everything is sold by weight, usually around two dollars per pound.

Be sure to get there early, bring gloves, and pack a large bag. Carts tend to go fast and things can get competitive with regulars and resellers around.

If you do not score big right away, no worries. New bins are rotated in every day. Stick with it and you will get better at spotting the hidden gems.

Wonderful staff, clean bathrooms and break rooms. Security guard very pleasant and greets when you enter and exit store. Fast check out. Good will outlet brings bins out every 30 minutes. I drove in from out of town and was very pleased. I wish I could do it everyday. Very helpful staff with me as a new customer. Great life time experience. I have encouraged many people to go to the outlet. I wish they would have more outlets.

It's ok, but don't get your hopes up if you're looking for something specific. I did manage to find a decent jacket for winter but barely as it's sometimes tricky to find items to fit a 5' 1" frame. 😅 …

This Goodwill is huge! And it has tons of different options from clothes, to new furniture, to new bathroom appliance, but you can also donate things here as well as find donated clothes aside from the new ones that have more unique personality to them which is why I like Goodwill personally over Temu or other places like that. They don't do any type of trades like exchange stores but the prices are so low for a lot of the things if you look around it's not necessary but again if you do have clothes you want to donate this is a great place to take them instead of some of the random boxes.

I shop here (usually weekly) for my small business inventory. You pay by the pound and the price decreases per pound at different increments. So, the more you buy the cheaper it is. It's great for resellers like me. I always find some really nice and profitable stuff.

Big bins to dig in. Shoes, clothes, toys. Has a public restroom. Your bagged items are set on a floor scale & weighed for a much cheaper price!

Rude staff and kids throwing toys everywhere.

Good deals to be had here if you are willing to look and fight off others lol

One of my fav spots the by the lb store!!:)

Just left the goodwill by the pound location. It's located behind the main Goodwill store. The cashier was sitting down we asked her when will they bring out more products and she said in a little bit but she just went back to sit down. Not sure how they rotate items here but she just seemed a little lazy. Also they had a basket full of shoes behind the register that they were holding for someone. The bins were not full either. We were ready to spend money

The pay by the pound is hit ir miss. Today, it was a bullseye!

Just like any thrift store you’re going to want to dedicate a good amount of time to finding what you want. I liked that it was color coded, nor all thrifts are like this. Really impressed with the organization of this place. Worth stopping by, who knows what you might find for $2!

I was never a goodwill shopper until I found out about this one. Every single thing is $2. Everything I have bought still had tags on it or looked brand new. I have bought Ann Taylor, the Gap, Lululemon, Tory Burch, boutique brands and much more.

It's a big warehouse. It is clean. The employees are nice and helpful. All the clothes are $2.00. The clothes are clean and pressed. They have some shoes and purses. Those are individually priced. They have a good clean parking lot. They have handicap spaces and a ramp leading to the door. No public restrooms.

If you want good clothes cheap, this is the place. Every thing in here is 2 bucks a piece. Perfect for the kids doing cosplay! Its not reject stuff either. Be prepared to dig a little... but well worth it.
